One of my favorite books of all time is Alice in Wonderland, so of course I had to try to illustrate it a bit. What I remember and love the most in Alice are those weird wonderful poems, word games and playing with English language - in Finnish version there was over 30 pages of text explaning it The words on the background are from Jabberwocky, a poem in Alice in Wonderland or Mirrorland (I don't remember which book it is...probably Mirrorland).
Alice's head and upper body are maybe bit too big, but it's too late to fix it now. Oh, but can I say that I like Chesire Cat in this one? Good. "You often see a cat without a grin, but a grin without a cat?"
Corel Photopaint again. That program has very nice paintbrushes!
Ouuu~ this is so kewl~ Alice in wonderland/through the mirror is such an interesting book kind of morbid but thats okiee. My favorite characters have always been the chestire cat or the mad Hatter ^^
alice has always been one of my favourites too. This is so beautiful .. i love your sketchy, painterly style .. the poem really goes well with it. The layout makes it look almost like a page out of a picture book
Ooooh, your Alice is TOO sweet!
I love the book too. Dis you also read "Alice in mirrorland"? A second story of Carrol that's not as popular as "Alice in wonderland".

both the dark and light aspects of it, I dig..
