Artist's Comments

She is Wakahiru-Me, the goddess of rising sun in Japanese mythology. Yet again one of my images inspired by the myths and stories...this time from Japanese ones. Inspiration from Yoshitaka Amano who is the best "anime" artist ever imho - his use of watercolors is simply amazing.

Painter, OpenCanvas and Photoshop.

This does remind me of a Yoshitaka Amano.
Very pretty dress, graceful, and the muted colors remind me of watercolors and japanese culture...(what little I personally have expirienced... ^.^)
This is beautiful. :cookie:

I couldn't get Painter work at first either...it takes time and patience. It's a great porgram, but not very easy to use :(
