We have an art project in neosynthesis forum, lead by yours truly, and the task is to illustrate a song that you like...this is my take for the song " Autumn" by Darkseed.

My heart is crushed
It's lying there and growing cold
Summer's sunset falls
Sunlight flees away and dews of night arise
Rainy autumn moves my heart
Flowers welking welk my joy
Clouds come rolling over
they depress me, overrun me
They overshadow my heart
Autumn comes apace, a last warm glance sighing to me
Now grey vails between the earth and sea
Birdless branches in the wind
Leaves they found their death in coldness
Naked trees in the frost of night
yearning for the sun again and again
Waters laying still in transparent fog
Lakes of blue covered with ice
to sleep their winter-sleep

Okay, yeah. My autumn is wee bit more colorful than the one described in the lyrics, but it's the idea that matters. Photoshop + wacom + one hour and half + music and really purty autumn day outside ;)

p.s. She is a doll again, the kind of doll I paint, so she didn't get fingers, so there.

wow... both the lyrics and the drawing are amazing... I like how it looks like the sun is glistening off her hair... and the lyrics are nicely descriptive/touching...its good...

The use of colors is very rich, which I love. I also love her facial expressions and her doll-like human-ness. You feel for her, and what she is going through. It's an excellent peice! I <3 it! +fave!!
